6. The epic battle between Golden Gates & Queen Quake is coming to an end with the return of powered-up former henchpony, Diablo, possibly forcing mortal enemies into common cause. Catch up with how it all went down in 2016 & 2017, read the 2018 comics, and be ready to choose your side and support it throughout the con.
7. 6-2-1. "What's 6-2-1?" we hear you ask. Simple…for every day of the con, every attendee (or staffer) should get at least: 6 hours of sleep, 2 nutritious meals, and 1 shower. AT. LEAST. No, a Red Bull and some Cheetos doesn't qualify as a "nutritious meal." People collapsing of exhaustion, low blood sugar, or dehydration don't have a lot of fun, and people who don't shower make things less fun for everyone around them. So…6-2-1, savvy?
8. Stay Hydrated! In the same vein as 6-2-1 above, look for hydration stations and water service stations throughout the con space and the hotel to fill your water bottles and stay healthy.

Get ready to swing, dance and party all night long! As BABScon approaches, so do the festivities!

This year we are proud to be hosting the Friday Night Friendship Festival! Starting at 8pm and rolling into midnight, come on down to the mane events hall and join in all sorts of fun! Enter through the tunnel of light where you’ll find music, dancing, fun and so much more!

Start your night off by visiting Pinkie Pie’s Fortune Telling Tent, what sorts of fortunes await you? Only Pinkie Pie knows!

Next off, head on over to Twilight's Friendship Tent and hear a tale of friendship, plus receive sweet friendship treasure.

And don't forget to stop by and have your friendship festival souvenir photo taken. A memory you can take with you!

Finally, make sure you stick around for the mane event! Rock your way through an hour with everyones favorite live band: The ShakeUps! And then, get ready to turn up those speakers, drop the bass, and swing away as DJ VinylTastic takes you on a musical journey through a night full of electro swing and more!

But why stop there? Stick around a bit longer and you’ll be treated to our EDM after party! What sorts of surprises will we have in store? You’ll have to stay tuned to find out….

If there’s one thing Queen Quake loves, it's some good ol fashion, hard hitting electro house, and our next musician is certainly no stranger to that type of genre. Deep from within the bowels of Las Vegas, comes a DJ who doesn’t just drop the bass, but takes you on a musical journey through the power of electronic music. Presenting: DJ Darselex!

Darselex is an EDM producer that is always trying to find new ways of producing and performing his music, His primary style is techno and electro house. Come join his musical adventure, and see where it goes next.

From clubs and conventions to festivals and events, 26 y/o Elly Sakura also known as “ Dj-Hatsune”, has been dazzling crowds and conventions all over the west coast with her High speed & energetic sets. Along her journey, DJ-Hatsune has performed at several conventions such as Everfree Northwest, BABScon and many more! No matter where DJ-Hatsune preforms, She’ll be shaking the ground and lighting up the sky!

With BABScon nearly on the horizon, it’s time to go full force. And our next musician knows no limits.

Hailing from the darkest corners of the Changeling Hive. Box-wearing, Multi-genre DJ/Producer Chang31ing is back!

This box o bugs is ready to swarm BABScon with his phat bass and unpredictability, He’ll make sure to always keep you on your toes.

Weather he’s dropping one of his High energy remixes or original songs, This will be one BABScon you won’t want to miss!

Multi genre producer and DJ, Chang31ing's back again and he's bringing his phat bass and unpredictability to the Bay Area! Be there and be square!

Chang31ing will be joining this year’s Powerhouse lineup of DJs and musicians including: DJ VinylTastic, The Shake ups, and DJ Hollowpoint! If you haven’t already registered for BABScon, time is running out!

Brenda’s been penciling her way through the various IDW My Little Pony titles for some years now, with her credits including Friendship is Magic (issues #13-14, 24, 40, 63), FIENDship is Magic (issue #1, Sombra), Micro-Series (issue #6, Applejack), Friends Forever (issues #12, 15, 17, 19, 20, 25, 29), and the recent and awesome movie tie-in, Legends of Magic (issues #1-6). Also check out her self-published title, Titian in the Halls of the Turnip King, and her webcomic, In the Air.

Meet The Shake Ups, a band that writes and performs original music inspired by My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic!
 

Based in the Midwest, The Shake Ups are thrilled to be making their Bay Area debut at BABSCON 2018!

This award-winning power-pop music collective blends co-ed vocals, bouncy melodies and infectious energy into a refreshingly charming sound. The Shake Ups have just released a brand new album, Ponymania!; their fourth full-length devoted to MLP!

Over the past five years, The Shake Ups have appeared across the U.S. convention circuit; they were the first Hasbro-sanctioned MLP fan band, and have performed with Daniel Ingram and members of the MLP voice cast.

The group continues to build on its reputation as a primary force in the fan community. The Shake Ups are professional crowd pleasers whose performances are fun for all ages.

Shelbeanie Cosplay is an avid cosplayer, actress, and life long lover of ponies, music, and magic. Known for her many My Little Pony, Princess, and Gravity Falls cosplays, Shelbeanie has been sewing and designing costumes for half of her life. Some of the favorite cosplays she's done to date are Adagio Dazzle and Princess Twilight Sparkle. She has a degree in music and a love of voice over work, and live stage work. Shelbeanie is an active member of Realtime Fandub and a part time Princess. In her free time, she enjoys promoting the magic of friendship and snuggling her sugar gliders.
