With BABScon nearly on the horizon, it’s time to go full force. And our next musician knows no limits.

Hailing from the darkest corners of the Changeling Hive. Box-wearing, Multi-genre DJ/Producer Chang31ing is back!

This box o bugs is ready to swarm BABScon with his phat bass and unpredictability, He’ll make sure to always keep you on your toes.

Weather he’s dropping one of his High energy remixes or original songs, This will be one BABScon you won’t want to miss!

Multi genre producer and DJ, Chang31ing's back again and he's bringing his phat bass and unpredictability to the Bay Area! Be there and be square!

 

 

Chang31ing will be joining this year’s Powerhouse lineup of DJs and musicians including: DJ VinylTastic, The Shake ups, and DJ Hollowpoint! If you haven’t already registered for BABScon, time is running out!

We just can’t stop ourselves from announcing Guests of Honor for this year! Our latest heroic addition to BABSCon 2018, in her very first MLP convention appearance, is the amazingly talented Brenda Hickey.

Brenda’s been penciling her way through the various IDW My Little Pony titles for some years now, with her credits including Friendship is Magic (issues #13-14, 24, 40, 63), FIENDship is Magic (issue #1, Sombra), Micro-Series (issue #6, Applejack), Friends Forever (issues #12, 15, 17, 19, 20, 25, 29), and the recent and awesome movie tie-in, Legends of Magic (issues #1-6). Also check out her self-published title, Titian in the Halls of the Turnip King, and her webcomic, In the Air.

Brenda joins BABSCon 2018 Guests of Honor John de Lancie, Andrea Libman, Kelly Sheridan, Trevor Devall, Bill Newton, Amy Keating Rogers, Nicole Dubuc, Heather Breckel, and Christina Rice. Meet The Shake Ups, a band that writes and performs original music inspired by My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic!
 

Based in the Midwest, The Shake Ups are thrilled to be making their Bay Area debut at BABSCON 2018!

This award-winning power-pop music collective blends co-ed vocals, bouncy melodies and infectious energy into a refreshingly charming sound. The Shake Ups have just released a brand new album, Ponymania!; their fourth full-length devoted to MLP!

Over the past five years, The Shake Ups have appeared across the U.S. convention circuit; they were the first Hasbro-sanctioned MLP fan band, and have performed with Daniel Ingram and members of the MLP voice cast.

The group continues to build on its reputation as a primary force in the fan community. The Shake Ups are professional crowd pleasers whose performances are fun for all ages.

Shelbeanie Cosplay is an avid cosplayer, actress, and life long lover of ponies, music, and magic. Known for her many My Little Pony, Princess, and Gravity Falls cosplays, Shelbeanie has been sewing and designing costumes for half of her life. Some of the favorite cosplays she's done to date are Adagio Dazzle and Princess Twilight Sparkle. She has a degree in music and a love of voice over work, and live stage work. Shelbeanie is an active member of Realtime Fandub and a part time Princess. In her free time, she enjoys promoting the magic of friendship and snuggling her sugar gliders.
