And it’s full steam ahead, as this unique group of train enthusiasts proves they're still chugging along!

With so many guests already announced, you might think that we're running out of steam; but we can assure you that it’s not the end of the line! Bringing their love of trains to the My Little Pony community, BABSCon is pleased to welcome one of the most unique groups in the fandom: The Railroad Bronies!

Started in 2013, after thinking about how and what to do in order to contribute to the Brony Fandom, the Railroad Bronies (RRB) was started as a way to express our love for trains and MLP in the brony fandom. The Railroad Bronies over the years have branched out and have made many friends throughout the brony fandom and across the world. The Railroad Bronies have been featured & mentioned in several different media/news articles, such as: Trains Magazine, LA Weekly, LALS Engine Booster & A Brony Tale. It is actually very surprising to find out how many train enthusiasts are within this community ours. From Rail fanning to model railroading, Live Steam & even the occasionally tomfoolery railroad brony skit, the RRB have gone on and had many adventures involving trains & MLP a like. The Railroad Bronies always love meeting new brony railroaders to talk to so come by and say hi. Also the Railroad Bronies have a big weakness for LENINADE (a soda pop either created by Pinkie Pie or Starlight Glimmer)

2017 may be drawing to a close, but we’re far from finished with new announcements! Join us as we welcome The Barcast, and Hoof Hearted, to BABSCon 2018!  

With writing which has garnered over 1.5 million reads, and as one of the top 50 most followed writers on FiMFiction, as well as a member of a popular fandom podcast with interviews of other members of the fandom – we’re pleased as (Berry) Punch to welcome back Flutterpriest and The Barcast to BABSCon 2018!

Our next group has members who have been around since the early days of the fandom. Whether they're producing podcasts, analyzing the latest episode, making parody videos, interviewing your favorite guest of honor, or hosting panels at small horse conventions; they're always striving to keep you entertained: Hoof Hearted will be joining this year’s community guest lineup!

Flutterpriest & The Barcast:

Flutterpriest first began writing Greentext stories on /mlp/ in mid-2013, and then transitioned to Fimfiction in early 2014. Currently, he remains one of the top 40 most followed writers on Fimfiction and one of the top most read authors in greentext. In late 2015, he and several other prominent writers (Anonpencil, Mikesnipe, Enigmatic Otaku, Ravvij, and Flammenwerfer) banded together to create the non-profit "Barcast" podcast, which interviews your favorite brony celebrities using (often inappropriate) questions that the watchers submit.

Hoof Hearted:

Hoof Hearted? They did, all the way back in 2014! This small group of friends from SoCal specializes in podcasts, interviews, reacts, parodies, and more. Since their inception, they’ve also hosted panels, sold artwork, interviewed show staff, worn many masks, and presented G.M. Berrow with off-brand boxes of cereal at brony conventions all across the country. Hoof Hearted has attended BABSCon every single year, and they couldn’t be more excited to be honored as community guests at their favorite con! (Their words, not ours!)

Josh Scorcher a fiery pony gamer, Silver Quill the Hippogryph and Dr. Wolf with his healing wisdom will join us for the 2018 edition of BABSCon.

BABSCon is proud to announce three fearless, adventurous and creative reviewers who will grace our halls this March.

Josh Scorcher, a reviewer of games, popular culture and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, will attend as our first community guest.

Josh’s scorching personality has left a significant mark in the pony fandom, as an exceptional and insightful fan reviewer of My Little Pony content, through his YouTube channel. When not reviewing My Little Pony, his talent as a fiery gamer on his Twitch channel brought countless hours of entertaining enjoyment to his viewers.

Josh is known throughout the pony world for his fiery humor and entertaining persona as gamer, a reviewer and an all-around awesomely bright personality has made us a fan of his work.

Next, Silver Quill, a Hippograph reviewer of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and the Pony Fandom with his fun and humorous remarks, will fly in as our next honored community guest.

Silver’s talent as pony commentary is pure gift of joy in the pony fandom. His YouTube channel is a showcase of his ability to keep us entertained through his videos reviews of My Little Pony and pony related content. When he is not making videos, Silver takes time to be a supportive friend in the pony fandom through Twitter.

Silver is a uniquely well-known Hippograph, always willing lend his talons and time for other Bronies who have the same love and passion in the fandom. His hobbies and personality are an admiration through his Deviant Art site.

Lastly, we bring you the therapist filled with inspirational healing wisdom and analytical advice for one weekend in March!

Dr. Wolf, the inspirational wolf will bring his healing advice and wisdom to soothe those troubling worries you might have, just as he’s helped other ponies and creatures as our next community guest. The doctor is known to give his in-depth analysis and helpful advice through his sessions on YouTube. When not in the office, Dr. Wolf has a unique talent for inspiration as he gives many an analytical review of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and the Pony Fandom in general.

In his spare time, Dr. Wolf loves to go on adventures,with his fellow friends, as he shares his experience with others. A wolf of pure enjoyment who has entertained the Pony Fandom and created a fan following of his work.

Josh Scorcher

KABOOM! It's Josh Scorcher! The fiery joker has been doing YouTube for almost a decade, slowly building his audience while balancing a military career and then college.

He is the co-creator of TF2 Analysis Anarchy and CO of FOBEquestria, a military brony organization, and the host and dungeon master of two Brony D&D campaigns: Welcome to the Show and Curse of Strahd.

Silver Quill

Before he became a comic writer and Youtuber reviewer, Silver Quill attended his first Brony convention courtesy of BABSCon. Since then he began to gain an audience with short comics and his ongoing "A Princess' Tears" story. As his interest in the show deepened he began producing a video series titled "After the Fact", which has earned over 14,500 subscribers. Now a regular to contributor to Equestria Daily while maintaining both comics and videos, Silver is more involved in the Brony fandom than ever. He strives to take a closer look at characters, stories, and themes while adding a dash of humor.

Dr. Wolf

Greetings and Welcome, Everyone. Though many know Dr. Wolf through Reviews and Analysis of MLP, many others enjoy the ongoing "TF2 Analysis Anarchy" series as well as the long list of Dramatic Readings he's put together of MLP Fan Fictions from the community. He actually started a Youtube channel to work on his voice acting, but it's still a lot of fun to find what inspires him about MLP. The show and the fandom surrounding it has become rather intriguing. Quite unlike anything that he has come across before. Perhaps if you stay awhile, he can help you to find some inspiration too.

It’s the holiday season and we’re spreading the joy as we welcome our first set of community guests for BABSCon 2018!

First, you know him as the animator of many great works including Luna’s Determination, the Project Thundercloud series, The Return of Queen Quake (which is totally the best one, though we could be biased), Good Morning Baltimare, and many, many more: Minty Root will be making his return at BABSCon next year.

What would happen if Batman, Elsa, Sailor Moon, every other series under Celestia’s sun met MLP? ToucanLDM is answering that question, and he’ll be attending as our second community guest!

Next up is our first animator from the analysis community. Animator of several works such as Bronies Stamp the Ground as well as many a review, you may know her as the TF2 Analysis Anarchy's Head Editor and Blue Team Heavy, and we’re pleased to welcome the rainbow-colored analysis alicorn herself: Lightening Bliss!

Finally we have our first SFM animator of 2018, who’s most famous works include Lone Digger (in which Octavia and Vinyl pull off the most bad-flank bank heist in Equestrian history) as well as contributions to fandom projects such as the popular Doors  and Doors 2, self-professed lover of beef jerky: Yaasho!

Minty Root:

Minty Root is a Canadian fan animator, known for his work on Luna's Determination, Good Morning Baltimare and many more animated projects.

He's interested in cinematic storytelling, dramatic lighting and ambiance, but also cute little ponies.

I’m known as the creator of the My Little Pony meets series on Youtube. Some of my most notable works include Batman, Spider-Man, Rapunzel, Elsa and Sailor Moon meets MLP!

Lightning Bliss:

Meet Lightning Bliss, the spunky, tiny, rainbow alicorn of the Brony Analysis Community, proud member of the Secret Rift Cafe as well as the Blue Team's "Heavy" and Lead Editor for Josh Scorcher's and DRWolf's TF2: Analysis Anarchy Series! When she's not reviewing or training on the battlefield, she's learning how to control her magic, work on her artwork and animation, or is up to silly shenanigans with her friends amongst the Brony Community! I'm an amateur Source Filmmaker (SFM) animator with roughly 3 years of experience who loves animating ponies! It's one of my favorite hobbies next to playing World of Warcraft (For the Horde!). Coffee and beef jerky are two addictions of mine. Someday, I hope to travel across Europe.
