What if we said that you could win a free badge by doing so? How about two free badges? Well now you can!
Do you want to go to BABSCon? Maybe bring a friend or even a Very Special Somepony™ with you? Here’s your chance to do it using just the power of love…and art…or a mere 17 syllables! Announcing our annual #LoveBABS Contest, where we challenge you to make the best Hearts and Hooves Day-related art in exchange for a fabulous prize: worldwide recognition on social media and a pair of BABSCon 3-day Ponyville Pony memberships for two lucky couples.
Simply insert your OC into either one of the artworks below! The best shipping artwork wins!
In addition to the art contest, this year we're changing it up a bit and including the written form of artwork: poetry, of the 5-7-5 syllable variety! Here is an example:
Ponies and Cuddles
Long sips of the best green tea
Magic in your eyes!
Haiku you say? Yes, indeed. Create the perfect pony love haiku and send it to BABSCon for your chance to win.
Up for grabs are 2 pairs of BABSCon 3-day Ponyville Pony memberships each for a lucky couple (or a winner and their BFF - we won't judge). The winner of each category ("best art" and "best haiku") will receive two free Ponyville Pony passes, for themselves and their “Schmoopy Doo,” which includes access to all 3 days of the con!
To enter, all you need to do is tweet your entry to @babscon (or post to our Facebook page) with the tag #LoveBABS and you’re entered! Artwork and poetry should be “Rated PG” (or less) and while we encourage you to enter both categories, only one category can be won per person. The winners will be picked on Thursday the 15th by an all-staff vote (BABSCon staffers: by all means enter the contest and strut your stuff, but current BABStaff are inelegible to win).
So break out your markers, fire up your tablet, and dig out that fountain pen for your chance to see John DeLancie, Andrea Libman, Kelly Sheridan, Trevor Duvall and more industry Guests of Honor at the very best in pony-themed entertainment this March through April!
And don’t forget to submit your entries for The Voice: Equestria before 2/29!
